Apple Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups chopped cabbage (red, green or both!)
  • 2 unpeeled apples cored and chopped (red or green, or one of each!)
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • cup mayonnaise
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Combine cabbage, apple, raisins, and carrot (and other additions like onions if used) in a large bowl.
  2. To make the dressing: Mix mayonnaise, brown sugar, and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; mix until evenly coated.
